GanttProject 2.8.2: calendars and bugfixes

The first release in 2017 is ready! GanttProject 2.8.2 comes with updated calendars of holidays in  Australia, Brasil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, Ukraine, United Kingdom and United States.

Ласкаво просимо (warm welcome) Ukrainian language in the list of translations, thanks to the efforts of Andriy Ilechko. Hungarian, Catalan, Tajik and Hebrew translations have been significantly updated, and a few others have been touched.

Besides the calendars and translations, GanttProject 2.8.2 should be more friendly to multiscreen and high-resolution environments.

Finally, a few other bugs mostly in MS Project and CSV import/export have been fixed.

GanttProject Brno 2.6.2

Hello all! I am happy to announce that GanttProject 2.6.2, a maintenance update of GanttProject Brno line is available for downloading! We planned to publish it a few months ago, and we're sorry that it happened with such a significant delay.

On the good part, we've fixed a lot of bugs, added two new translations: to Tajik language, authored by Victor Ibragimov, and to Galician language, authored by
Xesús M. Mosquera Carregal (many thanks to both of them!) and updated translations to Serbian, Slovenian, Korean, Spanish, Romanian, Finnish, Japanese, Chinese, Estonian, please forgive me if I have missed something.

Also, some of you may like the product which I've been working on this year with my tiny team and which, naturally, drew me off GanttProject. If you're from academia world, or if you need to typeset complex documents, you may find interesting this shameless self-promotion

Another call for translations: Spanish, Chinese and Japanese updates are urgently needed!

¡Hola! 今日は, 你好

We'd love to release GP 2.6 fully translated to the most popular languages, and at the moment, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese translations are those which need updates. If you're a native speaker of these languages and willing to contribute about 50 translations of the new strings in GanttProject interface, please do us and the whole community a favor! Translation guidelines are available on our Wiki pages: http://code.google.com/p/ganttproject/wiki/TranslationGuidelines

GanttProject 2.5: Release Candidate build

We have published the first Release Candidate build of GanttProject Praha. Please fasten your seat belts and prepare for landing! If everything goes fine, we will release GP 2.5 in a few days. We want to be sure in its quality, so we're asking you to help us with the final test cycle. Download the RC, use it for planning your projects and report to us immediately if you hit a severe problem. Other bug reports are welcome too, but we're mostly interested if GP 2.5 works in general.

GanttProject 2.5 RC I download page with packages for Windows, Mac OSX, Linux and platform-independent ZIP distribution.

We also appreciate translation contributions. Thanks to a few great guys, we have translations to major languages, but we still need Japanese, Brasilian Portuguese, Traditional Chinese and other languages.
